RF Teknik Medikal completed dismantling of a Varian iX Silhouette linear accelerator at Centre Hospitalier d’Argenteuil in France, with Value Medical and a US-based partner.

## Varian iX Silhouette dismantling

Exterior covers were removed and mechanical components separated. Radiation safety, mechanical integrity and site working conditions were considered throughout the operation.

## Site coordination within the hospital

Team activities and on-site handling of separated components were coordinated with hospital operations. Dismantling was completed within the planned period. Removal of the [second Varian iX Silhouette at the facility](https://rftechnic.com/en/projects/argenteuil-ikinci-varian-ix-silhouette-demontaj) was carried out as a separate project.
