RF Teknik Medikal completed decommissioning and dismantling of an Elekta Synergy linear accelerator at Centre de Radiothérapie de Bobigny – IRHE (Ramsay Santé), France. The project covered controlled shutdown of the beam generation systems through to preparation of the equipment for transport.

## Elekta Synergy dismantling

The gantry and multileaf collimator (MLC) components were systematically disassembled. The kV imaging and XVI subsystems were deactivated as part of the dismantling scope.

## Packing and transport preparation

The separated equipment was prepared for safe handling and transport. Dismantling, lifting and packing were carried out with regard to radiation protection requirements and the facility’s site conditions.
