RF Teknik Medikal completed decommissioning and dismantling of a Varian linear accelerator at Centre Hospitalier de Carcassonne, France, with Value Medical and a US-based partner.

## Controlled Varian system dismantling

Decommissioning and dismantling followed the manufacturer’s procedures. Radiation safety and working-area conditions were considered during separation of the equipment components.

## On-site handling and loading

Protective packing was applied to the separated components. Equipment removal from the treatment room and loading operations were completed through coordination of the site teams.
