Exposed cables and mechanical parts in the LINAC body — Saint-Luc

RF Teknik Medikal completed deinstallation of a 2014 Elekta Infinity linear accelerator at Cliniques universitaires Saint-Luc in Brussels, Belgium. The project was carried out with Codeo Medical and Kensington Medical.

Equipment checks before dismantling

System checks and irradiation tests were performed to assess equipment operation. Controlled dismantling began after these validations.

Dismantling, packing and loading

Mechanical and electromechanical components were separated. Packing and loading were planned around the site’s access conditions and working constraints. Equipment removal and loading were completed with regard to radiation safety and occupational health requirements.
