RF Teknik Medikal completed dismantling of a Siemens Primus linear accelerator and a Siemens Somatom CT scanner at Bursa Uludağ University Hospital. The project covered equipment removal and preparation for conversion of the LINAC room to an Elekta system.

Siemens Primus and Somatom removal

Both systems were dismantled and the existing LINAC room was cleared. Electrical, mechanical and radiation shielding revisions were planned around the new equipment’s requirements.

Conversion to an Elekta room

The subsequent room infrastructure phase was also completed. Shielding, door refurbishment and electrical and mechanical preparation are covered in the Bursa Uludağ Elekta room infrastructure project.
